Woah okay. So for those who are like me and get SUPER motivated about traveling.. this is the perfect DIY for you. Yes you.
I know..I know…EVERYONE is talking about these darn pool floats. There are literally so many different styles and kinds of floats that it is hard to keep track! I’m not sure about you.. but for me they bring me back to my childhood when my brother and I would play in the pool for hours on our dolphin and whale pool floats. It reminds me of a more relaxing and carefree summer when all I had to worry about was what kind of chip and dip I wanted or what kind of soda was left.
This topic for me is now the Holy Grail of information that I would LOVE to share with parents who are taking their child(ren) to Disneyland. We just recently went with extended family and had an absolute blast because EVERYONE got to ride on the rides they wanted.. how you ask? Simple…FAST PASSES & PARENT SWAP.
If you know me.. than you know that I typically go to Disneyland once a year. It was super easy before I had my son because I would throw a bunch of Disney related clothing into a suitcase and go without a worry in the world. But now that I have a toddler, I am much more concerned about his comfort and tend to over pack to reduce any anxiety I have about forgetting things. So what exactly do I pack and why?
I am absolutely OBSESSED with shopping. I’m pretty sure I was born that way. Everything about it is exciting to me.
The fascination with buying NEW things.
Must of the things I even lay eyes on scream” BUY ME. BUY ME.” (Luckily I have self control… or at least a tiny bit of it.)
My search for extra money opportunities
If you’re anything like me, you probably get incredibly bored just sitting around while you child naps, waiting at an appointment or while you’re tossing and turning at night. Personally, my mind is constantly thinking of things I could be working on such as: cleaning the house, doing the dishes, making cards, etc. How did I get that way?? Who knows, seems to be a mom thing. All I DO know is that I would rather be making some extra money, or FUN money like we call it here, in order to go on staycations or even to go out and get surprise ice cream. So like I always do, I took to the internet in search of tips and ideas on how to make some money and most importantly LEGITIMATE ways to do so.
How I got started
If you have ever been interested in making money from home, I’m sure you have been through numerous blog posts, websites and pins with countless options (I know I sure saw a ton). The real problem however, or at least that I ran into, was finding something that was legitimate, was NOT a phone job, and would be flexible enough that I could take off time when Brayden or I was sick or vacationing. I had just about given up hope when I came across a post about someone buying and reselling clothing items from thrift stores. Immediately the light bulb above my head lit up (not really but just play along) and I knew that I had finally found my golden ticket!
How all of this craziness began
It was the beginning of 2016 when I decided to jump head first into this crazy thing that is called being a stay at home mom (or SAHM for those of you who like to abbreviate). Why did I do this? Well, I had finally decided that enough was enough and that working retail was literally going to be the death of me. So I did what any totally sane single mother would do and quit my job. Yep I sure did. I know… that is the definition of insane right? Right.
