My search for extra money opportunities
If you’re anything like me, you probably get incredibly bored just sitting around while you child naps, waiting at an appointment or while you’re tossing and turning at night. Personally, my mind is constantly thinking of things I could be working on such as: cleaning the house, doing the dishes, making cards, etc. How did I get that way?? Who knows, seems to be a mom thing. All I DO know is that I would rather be making some extra money, or FUN money like we call it here, in order to go on staycations or even to go out and get surprise ice cream. So like I always do, I took to the internet in search of tips and ideas on how to make some money and most importantly LEGITIMATE ways to do so.
At first I found a bazillion (maybe not that many but it seemed like it) sites that had all of these fast and easy things to do in order to make quick money. Some appealed to me, such as selling old clothes and toys, while some did not (like donating plasma every other week). Than I remembered that I had seen an advertisement about some apps that are legit and that all you had to do is take surveys. Boooo-yah! I can do that.. that’s easy enough. Seeing as all I had to do was sit on my couch, binge watch Grey’s Anatomy and I would be making money in the process!
So what sites or apps do you use??
I use 3 different websites, some can also be downloaded as apps on your phone or tablet, to make my fun money.
- Amazon Turking
These are all awesome websites that I use DAILY. They all offer rewards such as papal deposits, gift cards, or transfers to your bank account. I have been using the first two for a couple of years now and just recently started earning with Inbox Dollars.
What’s the catch?
These sites are all fantastic if you are able to push through some lengthy surveys. HOWEVER…. if you get bummed out that you spent 15 minutes answering questions to only receive 50 cents in payment.. this is not the job for you. A huge majority of the tasks and surveys are all paid within the 40-80 cents category. Crazy right? That is definitely not a ton of money for the length of time you spent on the survey.. but guess what.. it’s more money than you would have gotten just sitting on your behind. So to me, that’s worth it because at the end of the day.. if I made $3-5 taking surveys that is more money I can spend on my son for his birthday or Christmas, etc. I see the positive in it because it allows me to do something when I’m just sitting, bored or maybe waiting at the doctors office.
Is it right for you?
If any of these qualities fit you.. you may want to try online surveys. It’s free so it’s not like you doing this is going to cost you anything.. more likely just use up some time that you may have spent doing nothing.
- You like to answer questions.
- You enjoy giving your opinion and input to help companies.
- You want to earn easy, extra money.
- You are patient and understanding.
- You are bored and need something to do ASAP.
Give it a whirl. I started it and absolutely love it. Do I do it every single day? No way jose.. I get way too distracted with the other million things going on in my life but sometimes it’s nice to kick back and relax.. and earn some money.
FYI— I am NOT being paid to talk about these sites or endorse them. I just love helping others earn some extra money.
